AIDS Information Centre (AIC) is a Non-Governmental Organization established in 1990 to provide Voluntary Counseling and Testing (VCT) for Human Immune Deficiency Virus (HIV).

The Organization was founded as a result of a growing demand from people who wanted to know their HIV status. Today AIC contributes to over 26% of the total number of people counseled and tested for HIV in Uganda. AIC has since evolved to include other HIV prevention, care and support  services beyond HCT.

AIC builds the capacity of HIV Counseling and Testing (HCT) counselors, HCT supervisors and Training of Trainers for HIV Counseling and Testing, laboratory technicians in HIV testing protocol/algorithm and HCT data management. AIC has also conducted an HIV services Management course targeting mid level service providers (Trainers, Supervisors), project coordinators and managers in East and Central African Region.
