Roundtable 2: Partnerships Strenghtening The Ecosystem For Mnch Innovation In Kenya

Africa Capacity Alliance (ACA), in partnership with the Center for Health Market Innovations (CHMI), has the pleasure of announcing the second roundtable discussions (RTDs). This is the second of a series of four RTDs, whose aim is to improve maternal, neonatal and child health care (MNCH) in Kenya through innovations. The second RTD will take place on February 5, 2015 as a pre-summit activity during the upcoming Sankalp Forum in Nairobi.

This RTD aims to take forward the deliberations from the first RTD held in November 2014.  Reflections from the first round of discussions have informed the agenda for the second RTD. Key among the action points  will entail formulating action plans to prioritize County specific actions that address gaps identified as major challenges in realization of Kenya’s Health Policy 2012-2030 pertaining to MNCH in Kenya.

The half-day event will come up with concerted action points for addressing MNCH gaps for specific Counties in Kenya, including initiation of partnerships among stakeholders drawn from public sector, innovators, investors and development partners. The outcome of these pre-Sankalp Forum deliberations will also form part of the panel discussions that will take place during the health session at the Sankalp Forum on February 6, 2015 at 2.30- 4.00 p.m.
